After signing up and purchasing a job posting package, simply log in to your account and click on ‘Post a Job’ at the top of the page to begin creating your job listing.

Currently, SyrianCareers.com supports job postings within the UAE only. We are planning to expand our services to other GCC countries in the near future.

You will be prompted to create your user profile when you first log in. You can return to edit your profile at any time by selecting ‘My Profile’ from the dropdown menu under your name.

You can do this from your employer profile page. Just click the ‘profile’ tab and find the section titled ‘add members’. Here you can add an unlimited number of users. All you require is their name and email address. They will be prompted via email once you have created an account for them. You can also decide whether they should have admin access – allowing them to edit your employer profile page. For additional support on creating users, please email helpme@SyrianCareers.com

Admin access allows a user to create and edit the employer profile. These permissions can be updated at any time from the employer profile page.

Only users with admin access can edit the employer profile. If you do not have this permission, you will need to contact your account administrator or email helpme@SyrianCareers.com .

When posting a job, you can customize your listing by adding screening questions, making the job confidential, restricting applications to UAE nationals, enabling CV forwarding, offering referral incentives, and applying automatic filters to manage applicants.

When posting a job, you have options to set questions for job seekers to answer when applying for a job post, make the job post confidential, you can post the job for UAE nationals only, you can forward job applicants to your inbox, you can set rewards or incentives for candidate referrals, and finally, you can create an auto-filter.

Yes, you can select up to three industries and job roles when posting a job. The listing will then appear under each selected category.

By directing candidates to apply through SyrianCareers.com, you gain access to useful features such as structured candidate profiles, applicant inbox management, auto-filtering, and referral tracking, all designed to streamline your recruitment process.

This option hides your company name and job poster details from candidates viewing the job advertisement.

When posting a job, select the option to forward CVs to your inbox. Applicants will be sent directly to you, and if you have set up filters, only those who meet your criteria will be forwarded.

This creates an auto-filter which will move job seekers to the rejected folder automatically if they are not a UAE national. The job post will also be copied the UAE National page on SyrianCareers.com; http://www.syriancareers.com/jobs?uae_nationals=1

Auto-filter allows you to automatically move candidates to the rejected folder based on criteria such as experience, age, location, and other factors you define.

You can select questions for job seekers to answer, either from the drop-down list provided, or by creating your own.

Yes, you can save your job post as a draft before publishing it. Drafts will appear as inactive in your dashboard until you choose to post them.

Once you have created your job post, scroll down to the bottom of the page and hit ‘post job’. This will give you confirmation that your job has been posted successfully. The next page will provide you with social media links to Linkedin, Facebook, Twitter & Google+. Click any of the icons which will direct you to log-in to your page and then continue to share the job on social media. You can also share your team members jobs by locating the job post in the search results page. Hit ‘share’ from the list or within the job advert itself, which will bring up similar options to share on social media. You can also copy the unique URL and share this with candidates in your network or paste within social media groups.

After posting the job successfully, as well as sharing the job post on social media, you can list the job on SyrianCareers’s social media groups within Linkedin and Facebook – a great tool to raise awareness of your job post and increase traffic! Please note, you must be a member of these groups so you will need to gain approval to make listings. This can be done easily when visiting the page for the first time.

To edit information of a job post after you have already created it, just locate the job in your employer dashboard. On the far right of the title, you will see the option to ‘edit’. Click this to continue to the job advert to edit the information and then repost the job.

Yes you can. When you have created your job advert, scroll down to the bottom of the page, next to ‘post job’ you will see the option to ‘save draft’. The job role will show as ‘inactive’ in your employers dashboard. To activate the job post, just click into the title or ‘edit’ to post the job successfully.

You can close a job by selecting it from your dashboard and choosing the close option. To repost a job, you can reopen it, which will use one job credit.

Yes, job postings can be deleted from the job page within your dashboard.

Yes, you can message applicants directly from your employer inbox using predefined templates or custom messages.

Rejection notifications can be sent from the rejected tab in your applicant inbox. Each candidate will only receive one rejection notification per job application.

Yes, candidate profiles include a history of their applications and interactions with your company.

You can add, edit, and share notes on candidate profiles with your team.

Flagging a candidate prevents them from applying to your job postings. This setting is applied per user, not across the entire employer account.

After posting a job, you can share it via social media platforms or by copying and distributing the job link.

Yes, job postings may also appear on partner platforms such as Indeed, Trovit, and CareerJet to increase visibility.
